My video work represents a collapsed understanding of the internal experience of memory through notions of closed-eye or internal vision, which is un-filmable and intangible. This presents a rare opportunity to experience an embodiment of internal sight, looking at memory from the inside through a heightened consciousness of perceiving from behind the eyes. This work allows a bridge between painting and video, I intend the video to show sequences of imagery of what I imagine as painterly experiences.
